Fragments.
All this resembles a dream, this nervous game of the mind. Symbols, confused metaphors and random comparisons. The pursuit of all this in a dream to deal with problems in reality.
Others say: "This is what I want to tell the world!". And I want to hear what the world has to tell me...
Photography has fascinated me since childhood. One of the most vivid memories: among the old literary publications that were stored in the pantry, I found the catalog of the American photographic exhibition of 1966! It was like a fairy tale This little catalog became my favorite book for many years. It is still kept on the shelf among numerous photo books and art publications.
But I chose a slightly different path: medicine. For many years I worked and continue to work in this field. And the photo... She was always there.
Only in the last few years I started doing what I always loved so much. And, of course, I learned a lot and continue to study photography as a visual art.
In general, I have always loved static images.
Everything around, the world and our life in it consists of moments. Sometimes they pass so quickly that it is impossible to see or feel them. This is why I love looking at static images so much. I collect fragments like pieces of the whole world: strange, beautiful and not so, sometimes absurd or even scary. From these fragments I can assemble my own world, different from the one that surrounds me. Moreover, my viewers can also assemble their own worlds from these fragments: as many people, as many worlds.
All this resembles a dream, this nervous game of the mind. Symbols, confused metaphors and random comparisons. The pursuit of all this in a dream in order to deal with them in reality.
So many questions and so few answers...
But we still have to ask questions, even if we can't find answers: because questions are always more important...

I collect fragments like pieces of the whole world: strange, beautiful and not so, sometimes absurd or even scary. From these fragments I can assemble my own world, different from the one that surrounds me. Why am I doing this? Maybe because I feel fear and insecurity... Maybe because I don't understand: who are we, why and for what? Or maybe because we are all reflected in these fragments? All this resembles a dream, this nervous game of the mind.
