entry description
In my travels I discovered the beach as a place I enjoy photographing. No matter the age or the economic status it offers its joys in the most egalitarian way. The exuberance of young and old is contagious and the colors and light are inspiring. At times it also inspires a sense of serenity, with the sound of the waves adding a meditative quality to a stay on the shores. It seems that even when people have to work while on the beach or in the water there is a tranquillity inspired by the presence of the sea that often does not exist elsewhere. It is a joy to watch and an even bigger joy to photograph. This series is a collection of on the beach photos I have taken in recent years.
