entry description
The struggle for existence concerns the competition or battle for resources needed to live. I was lucky enough to witness this whole sequence of struggle cycle for the food resources needed for survival. We were trying for cheetah chase photography from last couple of days, but even after waiting for a couple of days the cheetah chase couldn't happen. On the 3rd day, again we decided to go for the cheetah chase and this time we were sure that it would happen. It was a beautiful morning with perfect light conditions for Cheetah chase. Cheetahs were hungry from last two days and today, anyhow, they have to hunt for the food. After placing our vehicle at safe long distance, we were waiting for the chase to happen. Cheetahs noticed a herd of gazelles approaching them, but they were hidden in the bushes. The size of all the gazelles was almost the same, so it was difficult for us to anticipate which gazelle the cheetah would approach. We anticipated the exact place where the hunt would take place and parked our vehicle accordingly at a long distance. Suddenly, Cheetah started to chase the gazelles, and all of a sudden, all the gazelles started running everywhere. We got confused on which target the cheetah would attack. I just kept my eyes on Cheetah and followed his direction. Finally, a cheetah and one gazelle came out of the bushes, running at the speed of light. There was a long chase between both of them. For three times, the cheetah caught the same gazelle, but for some reason, it escaped. The gazelle tried three times to flee from the cheetah, but on the fourth attempt, the cheetah knocked him down and the game was over. In wildlife, capturing a cheetah chase is most difficult.about the photographer
