The boy was feeding an elephant. To this boy, the elephant named Y Khamsen is a great friend. The boy is the son of Y Vinh, who is an M'Nông ethnic minority, living in Dak Lak province (Central Highland, Vietnam). Y Vinh is one of 14 mahout in Lak, he has been taking care of an elephant named Y Khamsen for 28 years.about the photographer
I was born in 1971, in Hanoi which is the capital of Viet Nam and received a Cultural Bachelor degree from Hanoi Cultural University in 1996. Upon graduating I began a career in journalism. Most recently, I am a special reporter for Lao Dong Newspaper-one of the largest newspaper in Vietnam.back to gallery
