La Tulipe
I wanted to capture the beauty of the flowers before they withered away. The use of boards surrounding the tulips and the rope used are a way of expressing the increasing loss of real nature in The Netherlands. We have small stretches of nature " boxed in " between our cities. Everything in The Netherlands is planned, even nature.
I hope to create moments of quiet and wonder with my photography in a very busy and hectic world. Characteristic for my work is the tranquility of it. By searching for this tranquil composition I try to find my own peace of mind.

entry description
La Tulipe is a serie of Tulipes in a very abstract way.I wanted to capture the beauty of the flowers before they withered away. The use of boards surrounding the tulips and the rope used are a way of expressing the increasing loss of real nature in The Netherlands. We have small stretches of nature " boxed in " between our cities. Everything in The Netherlands is planned, even nature.
about the photographer
I am a photographer based in the Netherlands. My interest is in fine art photography with a focus on landscape photography, although I love to experiment with other forms as well, i.e still life and architecture. The photographs I make are minimalistic in form and are either made with soft pastel tones or in black and white.I hope to create moments of quiet and wonder with my photography in a very busy and hectic world. Characteristic for my work is the tranquility of it. By searching for this tranquil composition I try to find my own peace of mind.
