I love chasing light and color with my camera to produce images that are fun and that evoke positive feelings. This piece titled, After Party, is an abstract still life made by photographing layers of fabric, cupcake holders, water, acrylic paint, candy, oil, and sprinkles. It makes me think of what is left over after a kids party and a fun time. I am enjoying being creative on this level, the sky is the limit with how playful I can be in making these abstract still life images.about the photographer
I am new to photography as an art and loving it. I was involved in the arts years ago as a mixed media artist. After 22 yrs in the dental field I am re-emerging as a photographer. I love architectural photography, landscape photography, portraiture, and am passionate about abstract still life photography. I make images using anything I can find with great texture and color, food items such as sprinkles, candy, oil, food coloring, and so much more are not exempt from my photos. I hope that these images create positive feelings in people and that they are exciting to look at.back to gallery
