Beyond the rainbow...
The aura of the mountains, meandering rivers, silent, that even reach the sea, forests with dense fog where kodamas live, the house of the winds, resilient trees, dunes drawn as lines and dots, a place where the sea meets the sky.
Worlds of innocence and dreams. An invitation to walk the landscape that we carry within us.
This small selection of images were taken in Patagonia Argentina in 2022 with 35mm analog camera.
Embracing the wabi-sabi concept of acceptance of the nature of things, the incomplete, the imperfect and the impermanent.
I am an autodidact photographer. I began in my fifties, first digital and after a while I embraced analog , alternative photography and encaustic cyanotype.
I look for an image that conveys my intimate outlook, so in this way, I embrace mistakes that I take as a path, the willingness to accept things as they are. My work has a wide range of monochromatic production inspired in the Oriental culture, highlighting the natural passage of time and minimalist beauty. The images open compositionally in the space reaching an intimate way of looking.
My theme is the passage of time, the impermanence, the ephemeral nature of things, the life that changes continuously.
