The Clyde Auditorium and the Hydro are two iconic buildings that are situated adjacent to the banks of the river Clyde in Glasgow. Both of these venues have hosted music and other events since they were constructed and are affectionally known locally as the Armadillo and the Pie Dish. The auditorium has a passing resemblance to the Sydney Opera House whilst the Hydro's design was inspired by Roman amphitheatres and boasts a roof with onelargest lighting rigs in the world. Both of these buildings compliment each other and symbolises the regeneration in this part of the city which once was home to a thriving shipbuilding industry

I live in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland and my passion for photography has grown over the years. My main interests include Architecture, Landscape and Seascape.
