Nemesis with heart in hand
I write this with my heart in my hand.
Post-photographty changed my way of understanding photography, since seeing it as a medium that could be intervened, either digitally or physically, opened up the possibilities of representing images that inhabit my mind, and not in real life. Adding to this fact the references I have kept in mind such as Peter Witkin, Diane Arbous, The Chapman brothers, Alfred Kubin, Goya ... have left me marked with their aesthetics of the grotesque, giving me the drive to create bizarre images, disturbing with a magical tint.

entry description
Nemesis the goddess of justice is between the balance of revenge and love, a situation in which many of us find ourselves being betrayed by a loved one. My photograph traveled these two paths when it was created, giving the spectators my allegory of retributive justice.I write this with my heart in my hand.
about the photographer
Hello, my name is Braulio Hernández, I am 19 years old, I am Mexican and I am passionate about visual arts. Since 5 years ago I started in the world of photography, however, as I developed my criteria, I realized that today, photography in its purest form tends to repetition, hyperdocumenting the world where we live. Fortunately I found an answer, post-photography.Post-photographty changed my way of understanding photography, since seeing it as a medium that could be intervened, either digitally or physically, opened up the possibilities of representing images that inhabit my mind, and not in real life.
