A group of wild growing Cyclamen in the forests near my home – photographed in the late afternoon and with a vintage lens. This not easy to handle vintage lens - a Cyclop 85/1.5 - is known for its special bokeh and I always like to take it with me.The photo consist of a single exposure with no alteration of elements in post processing - besides a basic RAW development.

Henrik Spranz - software developer in his day job - has been shooting images since 2006. His initial interests lay in travel photography, although these days you'll find him focusing more on the small world and wildlife photography.Nick Smith for Outdoor Photography magazine:
