Don’t Break The Rules
Today you walk on these floors, look at the numbers on the cell doors and the whole area is still undergoing a kind of purification - nowadays, this space serves as a library, art shops and a cultural centre.
The line between good and bad is and always has been fragile, so in case you encounter something bad, think about the fact that there might be reasons for it happening.
I am an amateur photographer specialized in architecture and nature photography. I rely more on my intuition than on technical knowledge, that leads me to trying all possibilities. I find uniqueness in every thing, place and situation, capture it in simplicity and perfection without major adjustments and interventions.
Black and white photography shows me that less can be more and I like to find balance in that.

entry description
I took this photo in an ex-prison in Leeuwarden /NL/. It’s strange to say but there was an incredible atmosphere- full of everything. It’s like when you stop time somewhere, you hear steps going down the metal stairs echoing in one rhythm, silence and at the same time the noise of souls questioning their conscience, inhalation and exhalation, loud heartbeat.Today you walk on these floors, look at the numbers on the cell doors and the whole area is still undergoing a kind of purification - nowadays, this space serves as a library, art shops and a cultural centre.
The line between good and bad is and always has been fragile, so in case you encounter something bad, think about the fact that there might be reasons for it happening.
