entry description
Here’s the show I attended, the Mt. Etna during its first paroxysm of the 2022. As you can see from the photos, the lava fountains have reached a height probably close to a kilometer. The photos were taken about 60 kilometers away as the crow flies. The lack of haze made it possible to capture this magnificent spectacle at such a distance. It was truly a thrill for me to witness this event which, moreover, took place on a starry evening with the moon lightly illuminating the landscape.about the photographer
I'm a passionate landscape/astro photographer, so I like taking pictures of places. No matter if I am in a city centre, a country, a desert or anywhere. My goal is to capture the emotions that a landscape can communicate me and translate them in a picture. It is not easy but in my infinite research I try to do that more and more. I was born in Modica (Sicily, Italy), and I live there. Most of my pictures are taken from places in my awesome island. Often I move along Sicily to search new ways of inspiration.back to gallery
