Milky Way at Convict Lake
What an amazing feeling to be that crazy and then the sense of accomplishment to get the shot perfectly as I imagined.
I travel a lot to capture the rarest moments of nature and sometime to the same spot many times to capture the perfect shot.
I always had an artistic side. In my school days, I used to sketch. My mom still preserved all my work and is not ready to part with it. Now I work for an IT company find every opportunity to run away from the city life to do what I like the best ... be with the nature and capture it in my camera.

entry description
Drove 232 miles (375kms) non stop to reach Convict Lake just before sunset. Took the foreground shots as the day light faded away. Waited couple more hours for the Milky Way to align perfectly and then took the Milky Way shots. Drove back home in 4 hours. What an amazing feeling to be that crazy and then the sense of accomplishment to get the shot perfectly as I imagined.
about the photographer
I love nature and the appreciate the beauty it holds with the changing seasons. Hence, I love photographing the landscapes, but What I love most is photographing the nightscape. When the moon sets and it's still dark ... the stars make it up for the light and the beauty of the night sky can never fade from memory. With my nightscapes, I want my viewers to realize the importance of preserving the night sky.I travel a lot to capture the rarest moments of nature and sometime to the same spot many times to capture the perfect shot.
