Maggie Kirkpatrick is a photographer from Frederick, Maryland. Having started self-portraiture at the age of fourteen, their work is influenced by their own journey with mental health, drawing inspiration from themes of isolation and longing. Photography became an escape for them, and a way to channel emotions into something physical.They are self taught, relying primarily on what feels right to them in the moment.
