entry description
'Reflecting Iceland' was created during my first stay in Iceland this year and for the first time. What a fascinating country! What an impressive and diverse landscape! Always changing, accelerated by rapidly changing climate conditions. Fire and Ice (still). What will the following years bring, when glaciers have melted further and eruptions take their course? In view of this, my photograph shows the wonderful mountain and water landscape reflected in one of Reykjavik's architectural buildings, deliberately kept in thought-provoking black and white. Only the 'man-made' building itself still retains its color. But who knows, maybe we humans will still succeed in preserving nature on our globe with all its wonderful shapes and colors...about the photographer
Photography is passion and art, means acting experimentally, to be in the flow with all senses and to completely engage in capturing a moment, no matter how insignificant it may seem.Essential approaches are abstract photography and capturing emotions. The targeted use of blur or intentional movement of the camera (ICM) enabling 'painting with camera' is a frequently applied technique.
