Still Lifes with Green and Blues
The series is inspired by sixteenth-century's still life painting.
The male nude as raw meat; corpses combined with other organic bodies. The compositions play with textures and shapes, aiming to a dark and displacing form of eroticism.
In 1999, I briefly returned to photojournalism when the opportunity arose to cover the Kosovo War. In the years that followed, my practice gradually evolved toward documentary photography and eventually into fine art, which now forms the core of my work. My work has also been recognised with awards on different occasions.
Beyond photography, I enjoy exploring other creative forms such as music, GIFs, and video.
