The Legends of Cuban Baseball
The Legends of Cuban Baseball lifts the veil of mystery that has surrounded baseball in Cuba. It provides a behind the scenes look at the great tradition of sport on the small island that has produced players who have dominated international baseball competitions for decades, including an unparalleled run between 1987 and 1997 in which the national team won 159 consecutive games, including gold medals in Barcelona and Atlanta.
No book on Cuban baseball to date has been driven by original photography and in-depth profiles of the sports’ legends.
