Memories of Generals
Is war. Because they had spent most of their life, dedicating the entire youth to fight the national guard.
Their memories may be the story of the battle, was the camaraderie in bombs. As the old pictures, as the war diary. But wartime memorabilia, most regrettable that the majority of generals no longer hold. It got lost in the war, or were sent to the museum for safekeeping. General Nguyen Duc Huy said to me that sometimes he always lives in two world .The bustling world of today. And the other world, in which he and his comrades are living with memories, pride, love, pain and obsessions.
My series below is a part of “Generals at time of peace”,which started in 2009 and continues today. This project will focus on 12 army generals, the meaning of twelfth number: December is the month marks the anniversary of the founding of the People's Army of Vietnam.
The project will last until the last minute in the life of the war commanders because I want to express the last point of the path.
