entry description
Determined to portray sunset at the Victoria Falls different from the shots I’d seen so far, which nearly all show the Falls recognizably, I spent three evenings collecting the photos I wanted: atmosphere, heat, light and the eternal water spray playing around in that light. The series is called 'Mosi Oa tunya' or literally 'The Smoke That Thunders' in the local language. In the photos you see the cliffs on both sides of the Zambezi at the Falls site, the bridge over the Zambezi and a detail of a cliff where birds are flying through the spray.about the photographer
